This Is Me
My name is Nancy Harris and I’m a counsellor and an Accredited Registered Member of the BACP. With more than 17 years' experience I've helped a wide variety of clients (including young adults 18-25yrs) identify and overcome difficulties in a range of areas including Depression; Bereavement; Stress; Abuse; Relationships; Anxiety, Low Self-Esteem, ADHD and Bipolar diagnosis. Entering a world of self-actualization is easier if shared with another. I will support you with patience and confidence that in a safe environment, you will make positive changes and live a happier life.
As an Accredited counsellor my work may include Psychodynamic and Person-Centred Counselling, sometimes with emphasis on evidence based and short term solution focused techniques (CBT). As a former teacher based in Bedford, I am experienced in working to improve people’s self-esteem and confidence, as well as setting short and long term goals to improve wellbeing and happiness of individuals. My qualifications include a B.Ed Degree, Diploma in Counselling and I'm a Dynamic Interpersonal Therapy Practitioner.
